About Us
Overview
The Black Eagles is the Republic of Korea Air Force's premier aerobatic team,
consisting of eight T-50B supersonic aircraft, demonstrating advanced flight
capabilities through various special maneuvers with exceptional teamwork.
Mission
The Black Eagles perform aerial demonstrations that showcase the excellence and precision of the Republic of Korea Air Force. Through breathtaking maneuvers, we inspire pride and confidence in our nation's air power.
Selection
Pilots are selected through a rigorous evaluation process that assesses exceptional flying skills, teamwork, and dedication. Only the best pilots from the ROKAF are chosen to join this elite aerobatic team.
Formation
The team consists of eight T-50B supersonic aircraft performing in close formation. Our formations demonstrate the highest level of precision flying, with aircraft maintaining distances as close as 2 meters during maneuvers.

The T-50B is the aerobatic variant of the KAI T-50 Golden Eagle, the world's first supersonic advanced trainer. It is specially modified for aerobatic demonstrations with enhanced performance capabilities.
